I love to travel and wish I could afford to go to the places I would love to visit, like:
- Spain
- Italy
- Scotland
- Portugal
- South America
- Hawaii
I have been across the USA, not all the states but quite a few. I have been to Roatan, Belize, Cabo San Lucas and Vancouver. I have gone on 2 cruises, which were a hoot. I hope to some day take one with my children.
My last trip alone was to San Jose, CA for work. I went to a week long training class for one of our instruments in the lab. Afterwards I visited my long lost nephew Michael in San Francisco. He is a very talented designer who teaches in SF. I hadn't seen him in years and it was a joy to visit with him and catch up on old times. He cooked dinner for me one night before I went to see
Wicked at the
Orpheum. I got a single ticket
cheap. It was such a great production! I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
I get nervous traveling alone, and have only done so for work related trips. But I muddle along and do the tourist thing alone and usually have fun! Now, what I do like to do is take
Girl Trips, either with a friend or my baby sister Kathy or my daughters. I have one coming up this weekend. Kathy and I are going to San Diego via Hemet where we will stop off to see my mom. I will post pictures from this trip soon! Meanwhile, here are some from my San Francisco trip.
